Hello everyone. This has been an issue that has became more noticeable over time.
Ever since i got this new Strix Gaming laptop a few months ago, it brought this very annoying color banding. It might not look noticeable but in some games with dark night sky it just shows as red or any other color aside from black. It is also noticeable in settings, where the background is banded much worse.
I searched the internet, asked AI, and found a post similar to mine, but it got no attention and left behind two years ago. I asked support and they told me to do a few stuff in which I did and nothing changed.
Here's what I did
Let me know if you need any of my hardware information or display information. I do not have or want a monitor [since i move places a lot], so i do not have output dynamic range settings.
Or is it just what the display that my laptop came with that's the problem? Is it because it's 8-bit? I have no idea since I had a previous ASUS laptop that isn't ROG and it worked without any issue.

Since I cannot clearly identify the color banding issue you are reporting, could you please help mark the areas that you believe are problematic? Also, please help confirm whether the BIOS version, system version, and OS build of the laptop are all updated to the latest versions. Is the graphics card driver you are using downloaded and installed from our website?
If the graphics card driver is not provided by us, but downloaded and installed from the graphics card manufacturer, we recommend uninstalling it in Device Manager and then downloading and installing the driver from our website to confirm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

hello
the system version and laptop build are updated to the latest version, just don't know how to check the BIOS.
Also, I believe i downloaded a graphics card driver from the official NVIDIA app so that shouldn't be a problem
here are some color banding things on a plane game i was playing, it happens on other games too.
