Can't register my new G14 laptop I bought at Best Buy

I bought an open-box ROG G14 laptop today and I'm unable to register it because someone else registred it on 7/25/2024.  I would like to get it registered to have the warranty in my name and possibly purchase and extended warranty as well.  Can someone help me?
