I got a ROG Strix G G531 GL531GT? I believe about 3 years ago. It's the one with the 8gb RAM, 512 SSD, I7 9750H, Windows 11. I added an extra 16gb of RAM as well as a 1TB drive, which i bought in Vietnam and is hot garbage, my computer gets slowed down insanely whenever i'm installing to it lol...
I just opened it up today, was unable to replug the connectors for the lights so i broke those lol, didn't wanna touch anything else so i closed it up. But i couldn't really see any slots for the SSD, i saw where I THINK the SSD was installed but again, i didn't want to open it further and ruin anything else lol. I might just have to take it in to Best Buy or something(for the record, i'm in Canada now) and get someone to install a new SSD, unless it's fairly risk free...
I also wonder if anyone knows why my HDD is complete garbage? lol, just checked it on my Device manager, i believe it's this one, https://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-HDWL110XZSTA-Laptop-Internal-Height/dp/B07CSDQ5RX .That's the reason i want a new SSD, 512gb is not much to work with, i'm a programmer and a good 300-500gb goes into work stuff, most of which is on the garbage HDD lol

Dang, only one slot for an SSD? A 1tb would be nice, but it's not too easy as my OS is installed on the SSD, not sure if i can get someone to swap all the data over to a new one. I might just get a new one when i have the budget...
