bluetooth adapter issue

alex_kayne

Hi.

I recently bought an asus rog strix g173rw 2022 laptop. I installed ubuntu and windows on it in dual boot. everything worked perfectly. Today I noticed that the bluetooth and the backlight of the keyboard on fn + f2 in ubuntu do not turn on. I checked in windows, bluetooth also did not work. I checked the device manager - the bluetooth adapter is missing and the error "unidentified usb device" is on. I reinstalled the bluetooth driver in windows - did not help. I deleted the device in the device manager - it did not help. I rebooted the computer and turned off the power supply, then turned it on and it helped. what could it be?

Hi @alex_kayne ,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Ubuntu on your G713RW. Since the laptop was not shipped with Ubuntu pre-installed, there may be compatibility issues when using Ubuntu.

If you need assistance with any other aspect, we would be more than happy to help.Thank you
