BIOS 316 interchanges CPU and GPU fans in G15

I am not sure why there are so many issues with the BIOS 316 in GA503RW.

I noticed when running Cinebench R24 that the rise in CPU temperature raises the GPU fan RPM and the rise in GPU temperature causes the CPU fan RPM to rise. The fans also tend to 'breathe' in the BIOS 316, alternating between raising the RPM on the CPU fan and then the GPU fan, especially when the PC is idle.

No such issue in BIOS 313, I am disappointed with the constant issues, I wholeheartedly hope it can be patched soon.

Hi @Redleon11 ,

Thank you for reporting this issue. Would you be able to enable the log recording feature in Armoury Crate and provide us with a video to further investigate this problem? Additionally, could you please send the following information via private message? I will then provide feedback to the relevant team for further investigation. Thank you for your cooperation.

SN:
Windows Build Version: (Settings - System - About)
Armoury Crate > Settings > About > Service Version > Check Button (Copy all content):

【Here is the file path for the log file for your reference】
In Armoury Crate ""Settings"" and check ""About"" page, If clicking App Diagnostics ""Record Log"", the Privacy Policy Statement will pop out. Once user agreed statement, the Armoury Crate will start to collect problem log  and you can click ""Generate log data"" to generate the log file with encrypted (ASUS log file).

Yup same behaviour, also I'd argue it's more of the GPU fan responding to the CPU temp and the vice versa for the CPU fan

Because even with the same fan curve for both the CPU and GPU, if only the CPU is under load, the GPU fan is the only one that ramps up, and vise versa for the CPU fan

I have the same issue with GA503RW 3070Ti on BIOS 316. Are there any solutions other than going back to BIOS 313?

At the moment nope, but did state that they will be releasing a new BIOS update soon, hopefully, that does it.
