Asus Zephyrus G16 (2024) Open box Warranty - purchased at Bestbuy

Hello, like the title states I am trying to find where Asus has it documented on the type of warranty a open bost Asus Zephyrus G16 (2024)  purchased at Bestbuy will get. Bestbuy support tells me to contact Asus support and then Asus support tells me to contact Bestbuy support. I was told I only get a 3 month manufacturer warranty on my open box purchase but I cannot find this documented anywhere. I am a week away from my return window closing on this purchase and will return it if it is in fact only 3 months, and not a year. The warranty check on Asus support site tells me to contact BB when I put my serial # in. How/where can I confirm this? I appreciate it.

The warranty for open-box products is the same as for refurbished products, primarily based on your proof of purchase date, with a three-month warranty. Please refer to this link for more information. Thank you.
