Asus zephyrus G14 touchpad is hard to click

I noticed that the upper part of the touchpad is hard to click, especially the corners. The bottom part “clicks” easily and gives feedback, but the upper part is very hard and not clickable. At first I thought the battery might be swollen so I checked the battery but it seems fine. Can you help me if it is a hardware or software problem?
