Hi All,
As the subject line says, I have FX507ZM model, and want to upgrade it's RAM. The ASUS website says this model supports:
8GB DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM x 2, Max Capacity:32GB, Support dual channel memory.
Here is the URL for same page:https://www.asus.com/in/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-f15-2022/techspec/
However I have used crucial tool to scan upgrade options, as it says Maximum Memory: 64 GB.
Can I upgrade RAM to 64GB or 32GB is maximum and I can only go for 32 GB ?
Also can I use any brands 16GBx2 or 32GBx2 stick (if 64 GB supported).
One more question: Can I just buy two RAM and walking to any ASUS service center and ask them to replace RAM for me ? I have assembled many desktop in past, but afraid to open modern laptop.
Thanks,
jerry

The FX507ZM has a total of 2 memory sockets, including those that are currently in use.
It supports one SO-DIMM with a maximum capacity of 16GB, and its specification is DDR5-4800, dual channel.
Here are the brand models that we have tested for your reference. Thank you.

DDR5 4800 16GB 262P_MICRON/MTC8C1084S1SC48BA1
If you have concerns about replacing it yourself, you may bring the device and the RAM to a local service center. The local service center will assist you with the installation for a service fee.
Please note that we conduct stability and compatibility tests based on the recommended specifications for laptop upgrades.
