Asus TUF A17 battery not charging and switching between plugged in and battery mode

Hi

My wifes laptop seems to be behaving very strangely and I cannot diagnose what the actual issue is to fix it. Does anyone have any advice or ideas?
The laptop seems to be charging extremely slow (Taking 24 hours to actually get fully charged while off). While she is gaming sometimes the laptop works fine no issues but recently happening more often it keeps popping up the notification to say Plugged in or TURBO  or Battery as if she was plugging and unplugging the charger. 
We are using the standard charger and I also have an Asus TUF A15 with a slightly higher wattage rated charger which I've tried on hers to rule out its not the charger at fault.

I've also changed the AC port internally in the laptop and also switched our batteries over as they are identical batteries / Same wattage etc. Her battery works fine and charges full in my laptop. Her laptop did actually start to work fine for a few days but now the battery is draining while playing again and the issue reoccurs.

Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the power and battery device drivers, updated BIOS and all drivers, done the battery reset holding power button down for 40+ seconds. Not sure what else to try if anyone has any advice. Here are some screenshots of the battery related stuff.
