Hi All,
I've been having an issue where if I leave my laptop turned off & plugged in for a while, it will not turn on - the keybord lights will turn on and the fans will start going, but the screen stays black. At this point I have to do a hard reset, wait few secs and it will turn on normally.
This will not happen if laptop is unplugged - so i am turning it on like that and connecting power right after I see the screen is working. This is an easy workaround but it's bugging me that there is an obvious issue somewhere.
This happens after I already had it sent for repair due to other issues(infinite restart loop) and service center had to replace the entire motherboard. I'd like to avoid that happening again so any advice is appreciated.

Hi @zukers ,
I would like to confirm with you whether this issue occurred after you replaced the motherboard through the RMA process. Have you updated the BIOS to the latest version 410 and installed the ASUS-certified AMD Graphics Driver Version V31.0.14003.5001?
Additionally, could you please help verify the GPU and Operating mode settings in Armoury Crate when the issue occurs? Do you have an external monitor or other devices connected? Thank you.

Hi @Anbby_ROG ,
Thank you for your reply. The issues before motheboard replacement were a little different - black screen would appear when the computer was working already and after one of the hard resets it would just keep resetting.
I can confirm the new motherboard came with BIOS 410. As for the driver, I am not sure, AMD software shows version 31.0.23013.1023. I installed the one from the link and after checking the issue is still there.
I am not using Armoury Crate(it's uninstalled) as it seemed to crash often on prev motherboard. I'm using Hybrid graphics mode in AMD Adrenalin software.
No devices are connected to the laptop except the charger.
