Asus Strix SCAR 18 2025 HDR settings

I own a 2025 18 Rog Strix SCAR.

I followed the instruction from this article How to Optimize HDR on Laptops with the ROG Nebula HDR Display but in the Windows HDR Calibration app I keep getting 700 as the maximum brightness, the logo then disappears. The HDR Brightness slider is at 50, as advised in the article, while the general Brightness setting is at 100 (full). I should be getting around 1200-1300, not 700, if I understand the display's hardware capabilities correctly.

HDR is enabled, the HDR TrueColor preset is active in the Armory. What am I doing wrong?


When tested in games (RDR2) for example - the logo also caps at 700. 

Fix?
