Hi,
I have laptop Asus Rox Strix G513IC-HN039. Bought it in early 2022. Fans got noisy, CPU/GPU temperatures rose so I decided to give a clean and upgrade.
Disconnected all the cables, PS and peripherals. I opened it up, disconnected the battery, held power for 15 or so sec. Disconnected monitor cable, dissambled the cooling system, took out the fans, cleaned the dust, repaste the cooling system, put fans and cooling system back in, exchanged 16gb RAM for 32gb, added 1tb nvme ssd, reconnected the monitor and battery cable and close it up.
Tried to start it up but can't get it to work. I get stuck at beginning. When I press power button, keyboard and strip RGB flashes red, first two times than one time slower. Status LED light turn on in the mean time, and one by one they turn off. Screen remains black, there is no sound coming from anythings and fans don't even start up.
I tried following:
- redo all the steps I took and check the connections
- tried removing added NVME ssd, exchanging previous one in, putting them around in different ssd ports; between each attempt I disconnected the battery and held power button for 15-20sec
- tried exchaning all the RAM sticks (2*8gb, 2*16gb) in different RAM ports and their combinations; between each attempt I disconnected the battery and held power button for 15-20sec
- tried starting up with PS and just on battery
- tried connecting external monitor
- tried holding power button for a minute; nothing happens; remains unresponsive until I connect it back to the power supply, than back to the starting problem
- tried entering the BIOS, but it doesn't start up
Can someone please help?

Please try shutting down the laptop, removing all external devices and the power source, then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds to perform an EC reset. After that, reconnect the power and try turning it on to see if the issue improves.
If the problem persists, we recommend taking the laptop to a local service center for further inspection. Thank you!
