Asus Rog Zephyrus G16 (2024) 16 inch 4080 Ultra 9 Over heating

I  just bought  this  laptop about a month  ago from Best buy, and i finally download helldivers 2 and the CPU seems to be over   heating and power off.  The fans dont really seem to kick in until after it powercycles. I have tried all different setting. I had to buy an extreaml;y powerful cooling pad   which is  way too loud. THIS CAN NOT BE WORKING AS INTENDED.  

CPU temp Reaching up 96c

GPU Reaching 86c

I have used Armory crate and MyAsus to make sure all updates are complete. I have also updated the nvidia driver.  I have seen a lot of people saying i can redo the liquid metal, honestly for paying so much for a laptop. I should not need to make the changes..... 

Asus please help me out. What can you do for me? I have registered the SN for warranty

I would like to confirm whether the overheating issue occurs in all games. Please try setting the GPU to Ultimate Mode and the fan mode to Turbo Mode in Armoury Crate during gameplay to see if there is any improvement. 

Additionally, please test using the ASUS-validated display driver version V32.0.15.6100, and use MyASUS to check the fan's operating status. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay, So I have tried multiple game now, and it just seems to be getting worse.  And shutting down at lower temps, around 88c.  Almost as soon as I can hear the fan spooling up, it just cuts off.

Here is the temp of the CPU and GPU, not sure why the CPU get so hot, this is about 5 minutes of playing with nothing really going on in the game.  I did max out the wattage on the CPU and GPU, it seem to be running hot 90+ but not shutting down. I am going to play with it for a little and see. But still 95c is way to hot either I or the machine are going to be injured.

Since G-Helper is not software specifically designed for ROG laptops, it cannot customize settings based on the exact specifications of your laptop. 

Have you tried testing with Armoury Crate instead? Thank you!

Yes, when using armory crate the it almost instantly shuts down, even the cooling pad can't help it. With Ghelper the cooling pad on max can keep it running but it's just under 90.
