ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 (GA403UI) Clicking Noises & Loud Fan Under Load – Anyone Else?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 model (GA403UI) and have noticed a concerning issue. When using the laptop, especially under higher workloads (gaming, rendering, etc.), I hear strange clicking noises that almost sound like an old HDD. The clicking becomes louder and more frequent as the system load increases.

Additionally, in the same area where the clicking originates (near the keyboard/trackpad or possibly the fans), there’s what sounds like an abnormally loud fan or whirring noise. It’s possible these two issues are related, but I’m not sure.

Could you please record a video so we can further verify the abnormal noise and check the related settings in Armoury Crate?

Additionally, please try running the fan diagnostics through MyASUS to see if any abnormalities can be detected. Thank you!

Thank you for the quick response.
I used the MyAsus program, and no errors were detected during the fan test. However, I believe the fan is grinding, and there is also a strange noise audible. For this reason, I have attached a video via Google Drive for your reference.

Since the connection seems to have permission settings, could you please assist in confirming this? Thank you.

Thank you for pointing this out! I apologize for the oversight—I forgot to adjust the permissions for the Google Drive link. The link is now publicly accessible.
