I'm looking for a second opinion on this. I think it's a bad/corrupt bios. I've inspected the motherboard and don't see anything damaged.
The system shows battery charging indication light, powers on for 1 minute, then reboots. CPU/GPU get hot, fans spin, no sounds when starting. Have tried all typical reset steps (disconnect all power, hold power button for 60+ seconds), and even other stuff like CTRL+HOME, then turn on power while holding those keys and wait. Have tried holding F2 and F2+FN during boot. I can't get anything to work.
I'm going to try to flash the bios using a CH341A programmer, but I can't find the exact model chip (WINBOND W25Q16JWNIQ) in the reprogramming software - going to try W25Q16 as a fallback.
Tips, advice, recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Does Windows start loading? Can you access the BIOS? If not, I had the same problem, and reflashing the BIOS helped, or try changing the RAM.
But most likely you need to reflash the BIOS.

No windows. No BIOS (no screen output on laptop screen or external). I've got the bios chip hooked up to be reprogrammed. I'm just having a hard time finding the appropriate .bin or .rom file to load onto it.

Please turn off your laptop and remove all connected devices. Let the laptop sit for 10 minutes.
Afterwards, connect only the charger and press the power button to check if it can power on normally.
If it still cannot power on, we recommend sending your laptop to a service center for further inspection.
