Hi, I bought an Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 (2024 model, i9-14900HX, RTX 4080) on February 16th for video editing, and everything was working fine until August. Since then, I've been experiencing crashes in After Effects whenever I apply any effects. I contacted Adobe support, and they had me reinstall the Nvidia driver several times, but it didn't help.

A few days later, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro also started crashing, happening every 2 minutes. Eventually, even Chrome started crashing, so I switched to Edge, but it also crashed after an hour. I ran a benchmark test (Heaven Benchmark 4.0), but it crashed within 10-15 seconds.

I'm not much into gaming, but I tried playing Asphalt 9, and it crashed after just 2 minutes. Now, I'm unable to do any work, even though I bought this laptop for work. Cinebench runs fine, and I checked RAM stability with no errors. However, during a GPU stress test, I found an error related to Shader Complexity 8.

I also received two BIOS updates in August and wonder if the crashes might be related to that. Please help me fix this issue.

I would like to confirm whether you have updated the BIOS to the latest version 317. Additionally, please verify that you are using the NVIDIA graphics driver version V31.0.15.4624 and the Intel graphics driver version V31.0.101.5186, as these versions are validated by ASUS.

Furthermore, please use MyASUS to check the status of your hardware so that we can better understand your device's situation. Thank you!

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.
