I have a ROG Strix G513QM laptop. Suddenly it freezes and cannot be used. All buttons pressed do not cause any reaction on the laptop. I have tried to replace memory, replace ssd, and replace thermal paste. But the result is the same. From several articles that I have read on this forum, the problem is in AMD and the solution is to disable FTPM, but I did not find it in the bios menu.
Has anyone successfully resolved this issue?
Can you share tips on what kind of solution?
I have gone to the asus service center but the solution offered is only to replace the motherboard whose price does not make sense. While changing the motherboard in my opinion does not necessarily solve this problem. Because it does not rule out the possibility that the same problem will reoccur in the future.

I've been having the same issue. Mine will abruptly stop (occasionally bluescreening). I can run system checks and nothing seems to pop up. Does yours also seem to freeze quicker when it is off of the charger?

Yes, my laptop freezes immediately after entering windows 1-2 minutes. And the only button that works is the power button to turn off the laptop.

Based on your description and the measures you have taken, the issue seems to be related to hardware failure. We understand your concerns regarding the motherboard replacement, but after inspection by the service center, it has been confirmed that the motherboard is the primary cause of the problem.
Regarding the fTPM issue you mentioned, since fTPM is a security feature directly embedded in the hardware, it cannot be disabled through the BIOS. This design is intended to ensure the security and stability of the system. We hope this information is helpful to you.

How do you explain the case in the following link?
It was explained at length, the problem was not in the motherboard. And in the end Asus installed a BETA BIOS for disabled FTPM.

Thank you for providing the information. Since we can't be sure if your issue is the same as the one being discussed, I will confirm with the technical team regarding this matter. Could you please send a private message with the following information, as well as a video showing the laptop freezing? Thank you.

Hi Anbby,
I have tried reinstalling my laptop to Windows 11. For a moment it looks normal, but when the laptop is left in 3-5 minutes it immediately freezes.
But if I open a game and leave it always on, even though the laptop is not played, there is no freeze.
Don't you think this is strange?
Can you explain why when the game is on, even though it's not playing, the laptop never freezes?
But if there is no active game and the laptop is left idle, it will freeze.
