Additionally, may I inquire about the software you are using to play videos?Could you also record a short video for us to further understand the issues you are facing? Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi @DDPERERA ,

Thank you for your reply.
I would like to confirm if you have used DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall the graphics card driver. Please try using DDU to remove the driver and reinstall the aforementioned driver version. Also, disable hardware acceleration in the playback software to see if the issue improves. Thank you.

Hey

Yes I used DDU to uninstall the drivers and disabling hardware acceleration also didn’t work, as you can see I attached a foto of my boot screen which also has a black square when the computer starts up

Hi @DDPERERA ,

Due to recent driver updates, please try updating the AMD VGA display driver to version V31.0.14038.8002 and the Nvidia display driver to version V31.0.15.4624 to see if there is any improvement. If the issue persists, please try entering the BIOS settings to check if the problem persists there as well. Thank you.

What CPU temperatures do you have without stress and under stress? Use Cinebench R23 to stress the CPU, because it does it well.

Hey

I changed the GPU to Standard in Armoury crate and Dynamic in bios and it fixed the issue but I have the sleep problem now which is when my laptop goes in to sleep mode it does not respond and I have to restart by pressing the power button which is seriously not good for the hard drive, If you know how how to fix this pls let me know

Thanks
