Hello friends. I've got a Asus Rog Strix G16 gaming laptop. It has 512 gb storage default and I want to improve it with adding second ssd to the other slot.

However, there is wifi card under the second ssd slot. There is a rumor about second ssd gets heat and gives damage to that wifi card. I don't want to mess it up. So please help me? I am not sure to upgrade it or not.

If I upgrade it, does it gets hotter and burns my wifi card? Maybe i should use it with just default 512 gb storage. Help me please.

Regarding SSD expansion, the G614J is equipped with two SSD slots, one of which is already in use. Each slot supports up to 2TB and adheres to M.2 2280 NVME PCIE4x4 specifications.
It's worth noting that many laptops are designed with upgrades in mind. When installed correctly according to the testing specifications, adding a second SSD should not cause significant issues. After installing the second SSD, you can use monitoring tools to keep an eye on the temperatures of both the SSD and the WiFi card, ensuring they remain within acceptable ranges.
