Hi,
I have a ASUS ROG Strix G16 laptop which I purchased around the spring of 2023 right when it was released. Ive always had stuttering issues in game, but not to this extent. I feel like something is wrong with the laptop either with the thermals or the network card, cpu shoots up to 95 instantly when I launch any game while gpu util stays okay. This is very unacceptable, please help.

Just to describe more of whats happenning, I am running Valorant on its lowest settings, there is clearly very little CPU and GPU usage on task manager but it still stutters like crazy, the game is plain unplayable, and I cant even run higher demand games because of this. I also underpowered my CPU to 60W but to no avail, reset my laptop to factory and wiped everything, still no change. Please help me fix this issue. This has been happening for a while but to this extent is unacceptable.

Due to you have already reset the system, could you confirm if you have updated the BIOS to the latest version and tested it using ASUS-certified display drivers?
Please try setting the GPU mode in Armoury Crate to "Ultimate" or "Standard" and switch the fan mode to "Turbo" while gaming to see if there are any improvements.
If the high temperature and lagging issues persist, we recommend sending your laptop to a local service center for further inspection. Thank you.
