HI Team,
Recently i tried to switch on my ASUS ROG G16 laptop, but there were no indicator lights switching on even after i connected the power adaptor and also i tried to follow through their instructions for hardware reset to no avail.Then i smell the back of laptop, there was a burnt smell coming from back. I have submitted the laptop in the service center but they told that the technician will have a look at it only tomorrow.
This incident was unexpected, especially given that the ROG Strix G16 is a premium gaming laptop designed for high performance and reliability. The device was well-maintained, used under standard conditions, and never subjected to physical or liquid damage. The sudden failure raises concerns about component durability and thermal management in this model. This problem was also discussed in many forums and they have stated that the issue is due to the design problem in ASUS motherboard for this model.
I request the team to replace/repair my laptop as a goodwill gesture. this purchase I've made by my own earned money and savings.
