Asus Rog Strix G16 Motherboard Burnt Issue

I have purchased this Asus Rog G16 around 2023 October.

I was using my laptop just normal usage, I've rarely used this laptop for my works...

As of 4th October, 2025, was using laptop and then i shutdown by myself, then at evening, when I tried open my laptop, first i have sniff an Burnt smell but i didn't gave stress, then turned on but it doesn't respond at all. No led light flickering.... Then i put on charging no led light of charging.. i was shocked 😨...

Then i smell the back of laptop it was coming from back

Then i searched on Reddit, i found this model has motherboard burning issue (near fan screw) So i immediately opened the back panel and disconnected the battery..(just for more safety so that it cannot burn more)

And found that my motherboard has been burnt from same spot where the reddit users have talked about due to your Design....

Since you have fixed this issue in newer manufactured models, by taping that part... (Again Reddit users have given proofs of this)

I request you to please replace my motherboard 😭, this purchase I've made by my own earned money and savings

Same some reddit user's have claimed that they have got free replacement without warranty as this fault is of Asus

Please Asus I request you from bottom of my heart to replace my Motherboard 😔 or fix it

I've already tweeted them but no response and already mailed them no response 😔

If any one official of Asus see my post please help me

Hi @Ayanokoji

Tweeting a social media account is not going to help you on a service issue. I've moved the post to ROG Care for attention of service, however, you will obviously need to send the laptop into service in order for it to be rectified.

Thank you 🙏🏻, but I've seen Asus also sent Their Engineer to replace items like motherboard I've seen this on an Video on x.com (because I've seen many posts regarding bad care of devices in service center, fixing one issue and returning back with some new problem or even scratched product) .

Have you already sent your laptop for repair?
If so, could you please provide your RMA number so I can verify it?
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
