So, I recently bought this laptop G615LR, and I have weird audio issue, because when listening a music, the sound can randomly jump between left to right channel, then few seconds normally, and again.
This thing Highlighted causing this issue, because after disabling it, sound goes back to normal, but also doesn't sound that rich anymore. BIOS update, all drivers up to date, windows 11 24H2 the newest update. I really hope it is not an mechanical defect, rather a drivers issue.
I bought these, and they runs only at 4800MT/s.. no matter what. Is there any specific ram that I have to use ? Or it is just BIOS update matter, but it's newest like I've mentioned.

After more research, I did found that they are not compatible with XMP, and PnP instead, which means 6400 will get high latency, and the performance would be similar or very slightly better, which make no sense with spending almost a £100.
In the other hand, Kingston offering as well PnP (no XMP) 5600MT/s CL40 instead of 46, which gives more performance uplift, for much less cost.
So the ram issue is solved, and only Sound issue remains the same. Is there any chance to get some help with that as well ? 😅🙏🏻

Bro, I encountered exactly the same problem on my G814JV, in my case the culprit was a crooked BIOS, ISST + Realtek driver and two Windows 11 installed on one disk at the same time. There is a bug when the settings in the registry are not deleted even after DDU and disk formatting. The only solution I found is to install Windows 10 and Windows 11 in parallel on 1 disk, this is the only way the sound settings "overwrite" the driver. And you need to manually remove isst and realtek, then install the drivers from the Microsoft update catalog of the date and version you need. It is important to unpack the .cab archives via powershell and then install all the .inf files one by one. After that, the sound blockage disappeared everywhere and did not appear after formatting. It is terrible that there is no complete reset of the sound settings, the remnants are stored deep inside. And if you install incompatible unsigned realtek drivers, you can ruin the sound completely.
Look at this thread, I had something similar OED and BUS driver. https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/xps-9520-w10-low-sound-volume.299780

Here, I unistalled the driver I had installed (which was the newest from Asus website) and installed older: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/IOTHMD/Image/Driver/Audio/40414/SmartAMP_TI_DCH_ROG_TexasInstrume... Now it sound even louder, and no issue with mixing channels.

Go to Asus website, search for your model and drivers, and install everything from Audio section, and Chipset drivers as well.
Let me know if that helped.

Please refer to the instructions in this link to try enabling and reinstalling the audio-related drivers via Device Manager, and then test to see if the issue improves. Thank you.

I faced similar problem on ROG Strix G16 (2025) model. I installed latest drivers from Asus's website for my system. That didn't solve the issue. Then I uninstalled TI Smart Amplifier and rebooted. After reboot was completed, it started working fine.
