Asus Rog Strix G15 - display shutting down and acting strange

Has anyone experienced this on their Asus ROG Strix G15?

My laptop's display doesn't turn on or has some strange flickering with some lines to the right. Interestingly, when I connect the laptop to my monitor via an HDMI cable, it's all fine and I can use it without problem.

I've had it before where the display wouldn't turn on at all. It turned on today for a short while and then this happened and now it's completely off. Help please?

Could you please share the actual model number of your laptop and the display driver version for further confirmation? 
Is the display functioning properly in the BIOS? If the display still appears abnormal in the BIOS, we recommend taking your laptop to a local service team for further hardware diagnostics. Thank you.
