My ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition gaming laptop, shuts down abruptly and without warning as soon as gameplay starts.
This issue has been a significant source of frustration and inconvenience during my gaming activities. It disrupts my gaming experience and prevents me from enjoying the full capabilities of the laptop. Interestingly, the laptop works perfectly fine during regular use and other tasks, including heavy usage of software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Blender, Photoshop, and Lightroom. It is only during gaming that this shutdown problem occurs.
I have taken various troubleshooting steps, including updating drivers, checking for overheating, and adjusting power settings, but none of these efforts have resolved the issue. As a customer who values a seamless gaming experience, I find this recurring problem with the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition unacceptable, especially considering the high-performance specifications

Hi @nasru2010 ,
Have you updated the BIOS version to the latest version 331 and tested it with the Asus certified AMD graphics card driver version V30.0.13002.13003? Additionally, did you have the power connected during gaming? How are the GPU/CPU temperatures during gameplay?
Please try setting the GPU in Armoury Crate to standard mode and set the operating mode to Turbo mode during gaming. This will help to test if there are any improvements.
If the issue persists, please provide the following information via private message, and I will provide feedback to the relevant department for further investigation. Thank you for your cooperation.

Yes the power is always connected while gaming
The CPU temperature is always around 72 degrees while GPU is around 55 degrees. I tried armoury crate in all the standards. including turbo. the result was the same
the windows 11 build was 22h2 until today morning. now its a 23h2. the games being affected are Red Dead Redemption 2 and Ghost recon Wildlands. no external monitors. but a mouse and exxternal keyboard connected. i have not replaced the SSD or RAM.

Hi @nasru2010 ,
Thank you for your response. The issue only occurs in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Ghost Recon Wildlands. Have you tested other games?
Please try rolling back the display driver to the version verified by Asus, which is V30.0.13002.13003, to see if the problem improves. Thank you.

Hi @nasru2010 ,
Thank you for your reply.
I'd like to confirm if you've enabled any features related to game hardware acceleration? Could you share with us the game settings information?
Additionally, how long has this issue been occurring? Please try to check the hardware devices through MyASUS to see if there are any abnormalities. Thank you.
