Asus Rog G713PI

Hello everyone. Since June of last year, I have had this Asus ROG G713PI notebook. Since around November, I've been experiencing random reboots. I've tried everything, including reading previous posts on the forum. Yesterday, following the guidelines from the Asus website, I disassembled the notebook to clean the fans and came across the writing on the monitor cable: "G713PV EDP CABLE (FHD 40PIN)." Is it normal for it to be a cable supporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 when the monitor is actually 2560 x 1440?

Hi @miche8510 ,

Could you please confirm if you are able to use the resolution setting of 2560 x 1440 without any issues?
Additionally, would you be comfortable providing the laptop serial number via private message for further investigation and confirmation? Thank you.

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.

Hello, thank you for your response. On Friday, I tried working in FHD and didn't have any sudden restart issues. Before jumping to conclusions, I would like to test the system for a few more days.

In the last 2 days, I have worked at maximum resolution. There have been no restarts. At this point, I believe the issue was indeed Windows fast boot.
