I bought my laptop in the summer of 2023 and approximately month ago it started work really bad. I have FPS drops in any demanding game on any settings. What is at the maximum settings, what is at the minimum, I have 50-40 fps and drops to 30. If I set a limit of 30, then it drops to 15 every second. I saw that the processor and graphics card are not working at full capacity. They are loaded just about 20-30%. Also, if earlier in demanding games the laptop turned into a jet engine, judging by the sound, now this does not happen, which indicates a decrease in power. I did everything I could, installed new drivers, checked the antivirus in all sorts of manners and returned to the initial settings through the BIOS. But nothing helped, maybe they will help me here

Hi everyone,
I’ve been facing some issues with my Asus ROG G614 JV recently. The laptop doesn’t seem to be working properly – there are frequent freezes, slow performance, and sometimes the screen just goes black. I’ve tried restarting, updating drivers, and checking for software conflicts, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered similar issues with this model? Any suggestions on how to fix this or troubleshoot further?
Thanks in advance for your help!🫤

Interesting, I don`t have problem with black screen but sometimes when I change windows, from game to browser for example, my screens start blink, shift, stripes appear, as if ypu hit the screen and the matrix broke, and if you switch back to the game, then everything works unchanged in the game window

Hi @sedrttyaval ,
Based on the situation you described, it could be related to several factors. Could you please share the current BIOS version and display driver version you are using?
You mentioned frequent stuttering, slow performance, and sometimes the screen going black. Do these issues occur with specific software or games? What are your GPU and fan mode settings in Armoury Crate?
Additionally, do you have any external devices connected, such as a monitor, mouse, or keyboard? This information will help us better understand the problem. Thank you!

Hi @Aviamolb ,
May I ask if you could share the current BIOS version and graphics driver version you are using?
Does this issue occur in every game? Please try adjusting the GPU settings to Ultimate or Standard mode in Armoury Crate, and set the fan mode to Turbo during gameplay. This will help test if there are any improvements.
Additionally, for the browser issue, please try disabling hardware graphics acceleration to see if it helps. Thank you.

Sorry for long answer. Processor and fan settings do not affect the process, lags remain. Lags and fps drawdown are present in all games with any high requirements, for example Space Marine 2, Helldivers 2, Hell let loose, etc. (I repeat, fps subsides at any graphics settings). In undemanding games, such as Barotrauma, there are drawdowns, but they are minimal. I attach the BIOS and drivers in the screenshots

Thanks for the feedback!
Please try using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove the graphics drivers, and then install the ASUS-verified NVIDIA Graphics Driver Version V32.0.15.6607 to see if it improves the situation. Additionally, I would like to confirm whether you are using the original charger. Thank you!

Hello, everything got a little bit better, but all the above mentioned problems remained. Also, for some reason, the geforce experience application was deleted and I can't install it back. It says that "It is impossible to continue installing Nvidia"

Thank you for your response. Is the FPS issue still persisting? Please download HWinfo and start logging before running the game. Record a short video during gameplay and share it along with the following information via private message so we can further investigate:
Additionally, regarding the GeForce Experience application, could you try installing it in Safe Mode and let us know if that resolves the issue?
Launch HWinfo in "Sensors-only" Mode
Keep HWinfo Running During the Test
Stop Logging
Thank you for your cooperation and patience!
