Asus G15 Advantage Edition reboots on its own

I have a Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition G513. I'm not very informed about gaming laptop temps, so here's the rundown. Recently, my laptop started rebooting by itself. I checked it out and I get 70+ C on CPU when browsing and it spikes to 85+ while watching youtube. If I play a light game (Gacha game), while browsing I get 95 C and it keeps going up until the laptop reboots.

I had this laptop for around two years now and this wasn't the case when I used to play cyberpunk on high settings. The laptop never rebooted no matter what I did. The only reason I can think of why this is happening now is that I got a 4K external display, but I the laptop still reboots even when its disconnected to the screen. Does anyone know what's the issue?

Hi @Ziimag ,

Based on your description, the CPU temperatures seem to be a bit abnormal. Could you please let us know the current BIOS version and GPU driver version you are using?
Additionally, please ensure that the environment you are using the laptop in is well-ventilated and that the fan exhaust is not blocked. Please try setting the operation mode in Armoury Crate to Turbo mode to see if it improves the situation. Thank you.

Bios: 331

The laptop is well-ventilated. Nothing is blocking the exhaust. The operation mode is already set to Turbo mode.

Hi @Ziimag ,

Thank you for your reply. Based on your description of overheating issues and ruling out environmental factors, we recommend that you take your laptop to a local service center for further hardware diagnostics to determine the actual problem. Thank you.
