5070ti g14 low gpu utilization in CS2

I have the g14 2025 5070 ti with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, in some games like CS2 my GPU utilization drops from 80ish percent to 20 percent bringing my frames to my g sync 116 to 120 frames to 40 to 70. I have the game completely maxed out graphics wise at the full 2.8k res however its strange because if I lower the settings/resolution the frames and GPU utilization and frames stay the same. Whats even stranger is that randomly mid game it will be running at the full 120 and then randomly drop to 40 at the start of a new round then maybe back up the next round on any map btw. Whats even stranger than that is in the main menu I always get the full 120 at 100 percent utilization. Like what. temps drop with the gpu utilization so 87ish for both cpu and gpu when its running good and 60s for when its running like crap.

Ive tried:

messing with nvidia settings

messing with windows power settings

making sure that its using the 5070 ti in nvidia settings

disabling the 880m (suppose to be 890m which is another problem I have) integrated graphics card just incase its using that instead

messing with voltage and wattage in g helper

updating drivers

fresh install of windows

fresh install of asus cloud recovery windows

Anything Ive tried has not worked and its really upsetting. Luckily it only affects CS2 and not any other game I'm aware of. When I did the asus cloud recovery I launched borderlands 4 which was running at 35 - 40 non frame genned frames before the reset was at like 15 but alas the 5070ti was not selected apon selecting it fixed it. (2.8k res low settings) but CS2 remained the same. gpu memory remains the same during entire CS2 gaming sessions so. I need help man I'm loosing my mind.

May I ask for the full model of your laptop?
[Windows 11/10] How to check the model name and BIOS version

What are the current BIOS version, system version, and OS build of your laptop?

Additionally, please confirm whether the graphics driver you installed was downloaded from our website or from the graphics card manufacturer’s website.

If you are not using the driver provided by us, we recommend completely uninstalling it and then downloading and installing the driver from our support page to see if this resolves the issue.

Since you mentioned using G-Helper, which is not provided by us, we also recommend completely uninstalling it. After that, please reinstall ASUS Armoury Crate and then check if the issue persists.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I have the GA403WR and my bios is updated to 307. Initially I checked to see the how armory crate responded before I installed g helper but the issue persisted while having 1 or 2 percent performance drop. So g helper preforms better and I can set up custom TDP fan profiles etc but still does have the issue regardless.

Hey. I am facing a similar issue as well. I have the Asus Zephyrus G16 (RTX 4080). Maybe it's been going on for a while. I'm honestly not sure. But today I've been noticing random micro stutters - sometimes extremely noticeable ones too. The usage start off fine at around 99% but the moment I start moving it starts fluctuating. It doesn't drop as much as yours but GPU utilization randomly starts jumping between 70% and 90%. Sometimes even drop as low as 50%. The game is still playable but seeing the random stutters really throws me off. I'm assuming it's a driver issue.. hopefully. I've tried turning of G-sync and nvidia overlay like some other people did but it does not help me. I don't think temperature is the issue either. Power draw seems to fluctuate a lot too. All in all the games just feels unstable.

Edit: I just tried playing cyberpunk. I do not have the crazy fluctuation issues. Definitely starting to lean more towards a driver issue or maybe a specific setting. I am facing the fluctuation and stuttering mostly in Apex Legends and NFS payback

Yeah, I turned on smooth motion for cs and it helped, the fluxuations are there still but instead of 20 percent when its bad its like 80 percent and like 160 fps (though it does feel a little choppy still without g or v sync) and now the good is at 100 percent at like 240 frames and its really smooth. However if I turn on g or v sync it goes back to how it was. Def driver level.
