We recently updated our GT-BE98PRO to the latest firmware and are now having random disconnections and network degrading on the wifi5 channel and others channels like the 2.4. This is NOT an issue with signal strength since it happens when I am in the office right next door.
Are there known issues with the most recent firmware update?
The router and ISO modem were rebooted cleanly after the firmware update completed it's install and reboots.
For as much as I paid for this router these issues should not happen.
Thank you!

Sounds frustrating — after a firmware update that causes random Wi-Fi drops (especially with good signal), it could be a buggy release, so check the vendor’s support/forums for firmware rollback notes and try re-flashing or reverting to the previous version if available.

Thank you for the post. I did go to the vendor support forums and have not found anything confirming my suspicions. I know I can revert back but there was some parts of the update that plug some security flaws. I am leary of reverting back to get a more consistent signal but lose the fix for the security flaw. I am hoping someone from ASUS will either acknowledge the issues or send steps for resolution.
