hi all so firstly I am running latest firmware.

i am on a 2.2gb symmetrical connection.

from ont to the wan port it reports a 2.5gb connection,

10gb port to my pc,

when i test with there router only 1 2.5gb port used for wan and only 1 1gb port for everything else it the BB company reports i am getting about 2.2 on DL on UL.

but this ASUS router i get about 2.1gb down and upload is always around 1.1gb no matter what I try.

Am I missing something somewhere all my isp setting are applied correctly to the router. as far as I know.

any help would be great thanks

Im running same router and updated new firmware. I had so many problems from slow upload speed to download, slow wifi, webpages not loading images etc... What i did is restore everything to default then unplug router from wall and discharge it. After that my router and mesh system started to work normal. Also used same settings as before.

Hi @tom01793 ,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To better understand the network connectivity issue you are experiencing, please perform the following tests and provide information:

  1. Firewall settings confirmation: Please check your firewall settings to confirm whether upload traffic is being blocked.
  2. Port testing: Please try using different Ethernet ports, including the 2.5Gbps port, to confirm whether it is a port issue.
  3. Cable testing: Please try using other Cat6a or Cat7 network cables to confirm whether it is a cable issue.
  4. Router factory reset: We recommend that you restore the router to factory settings and reconfigure it to confirm whether the problem can be eliminated.[Wireless Router] When Standard Reset Isn’t Working: Hard Factory Reset - Models list | Official Sup...

Please kindly confirm the above information and perform the tests so that we can further analyze the problem.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi thank you for your response.

1 firewall not blocking anything i do not want it to

2 Tried both 10g ports and the 2.5gb port as well. same speeds

3 All ready using a Cat 7 cable  but did try another with same issues

4 Factory reset carried out did not make any difference to the issues I am facing

Thankyou Tom

So anything else anyone can think of please?

so frustrated as its a case of i paying for a service and not getting the full benefits also spent a lot of money on this device to maximise the benefits.

Maybe it just needs to be replaced under warranty
