AXE16000 Internet Speed Drop

Hello,

My AXE16000 is directly connected to the ISP with 2.5Gbps speed, normally I could test the internet speed under the menu Game Acceleration -> Internet Speed which normally could report more than 2Gbps download speed. However the AXE16000 is not reliable where I found the Internet Speed test would be dropped to 2xxMbps or even less than 100Mbps. The solution for me is to reboot the AXE16000 and the internet speed could be resumed to normal (i.e. more than 2Gbps), but the problem would be reproduced within one week.  This situation is noticed in recent two firmware updates from my experience.

Also in the latest firmware 3.0.0.4.388 23012 I cannot choose the test servers locations nearby and the test record cannot be logged.

Would ASUS do check any bugs in recent firmware?

based on your issue, may I ask if you are currently using version 3.0.0.4.388.23012?

Could you please specify whether you are using a wired or wireless connection?

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could provide the following information:

1. The name of your Wi-Fi device.
2. Details about your network card.
3. A screenshot of the speed test results.

Regarding your issue with not being able to select nearby test server locations, could you please clarify what this means? Are you unable to detect another router or device in your vicinity?

Hi,

Yes my ASUS AXE16000 is using 3.0.0.4.388.23012 firmware

My connection is like this.

ISP <-> wired CAT7 to AXE16000 <-> wireless 5GHZ laptop 

The problem is between ISP <-> AXE16000 wired connection.

where when I login AXE16000, Game Acceleration -> Internet Speed. The speed is good at the beginning but after few days when I perform the internet speed test again, the speed would be dropped dramatically from more than 2Gbps, to 2xxMbps.

The problem could be solved by reboot the AXE16000 but it is not an ideal case.

Also from the drop down menu under Internet Speed, supposed I could choose different testing servers by locations but there is nothing to choose after I upgraded to 3.0.0.4.388.23012 firmware.
