ASUS Z590-A ROG Ethernet Adapter Not Loading

I have a ASUS Z590-A ROG motherboard. I loaded the latest bios and when I update the lan driver, it basically just opens a windows dos screen closes. I am not even sure if it is loading the driver. WiFi is working fine however. I have loaded armoury crate and updated all packages for grins. No change. 

Anyone have suggestions?

well based on lack of response I was able to resolve this by buying a new network card and bypassing the ongoing asus ethernet adapter issues. I hate adding a card to my MB but I would rather have this than dealing with the lower wifi speeds.
