As the title says, from one boot to the next in the same day, my Asus Zenith II Extreme will no longer post.
The onboard LCD display shows "Memory Code: 00" followed by "Memory Test," where it just hangs.
I've removed all components except the nvme drives. I even removed the GPUs. I've reseated the CPU, and checked for bent pins, but no change.
I've read this can be caused by a difference in screw tightness on the cpu socket, or the cooler, or it can be an overly tight cooler or a loose cpu socket.
This seemed likely at first, as when I removed the cooler's screws it stopped turning on at all.
Subsequently I've reseated the cpu, and I'm back to hanging at Memory Test.
Also, the power button doesn't turn the PC off anymore, just on, for whatever that is worth.
I'm guessing the MB died, but I'm interested to hear the form's opinions.

PS. I forgot to mention that I've also tried running the MB outside the case with a new PSU
I've also tried resetting the bios with the bios rest button as well as using the bios switch, retry, and safe boot buttons on the pcb.
