Hi, where in the bios can I enable S0ix support? The Z790 PCH supports S0ix but I cannot see the toggle for it to be on. Windows does not detect and use the modern standby capability which I need for extra security options (sigh)

According to the BIOS manual, S0 represents the working state, and it seems that there is no need for additional settings.
Could you please clarify the method you used to confirm the current state and the reason for needing to make these settings?
If you are adjusting power management settings in Windows, would that fulfill your configuration requirements?
Please provide relevant screenshots or a video demonstrating the steps to help us better understand your settings.

May I inquire about the specific model you are currently using, and what is the BIOS version?
You can search for the specific model on the ASUS official website, go to the support page > Manual & Document, and download the BIOS Manual for further confirmation.
However, please be aware that for the same chipset series, the functionality under BIOS may differ due to variations in models or BIOS versions.
Have you checked if the desired settings can be found under BIOS > Advanced > PCH Configuration?

I checked the PCH settings, it does not appear to be in there. Similar to the CPU C-states, they don't show anything relating to the "modern standby" or S0ix states -- raptor lake should support S0i2.1 and S0i2.2 per the Z790 datasheet and the Raptor Lake FSP from intel.
