I am posting this here in desperation - I hope someone at Asus can help me. I have been a loyal customer of Asus for the last 16 years, and spent a small fortune on Asus products.
The problem:-
I had a bit of an accident with the mobo as I am disabled. I dropped something on the cpu socket during trying to do some maintenance, and bent pins. The only course of action imho is to replace the cpu socket. I contacted Asus - but they told me they do not do repairs. I was/am gutted that I am supposed to throw away a £600+ board when it could be repaired. I am so disappointed that Asus support chose not to help me - I did not expect the repair to be done for nothing, and was willing to pay for it rather than waste it.
I hope someone from Asus can get back to me to help sort out this issue, and re affirm to me that Asus do care about their customers.
