Hello,
I have a problem with my P.C.
My config :
CPU : i9 14900kf
GPU : RTX 4080 MSI Suprim X
RAM : 2x32 ddr5 Corsair vengeance
Mother board : Asus rog Z790 Maximus Hero
Watercooling : Asus Rog Ryujin II
Case : Asus rog Hyperion gr 701
I built this PC myself, everything seems well plugged in and connected, but when I start the PC the screen remains black and the motherboard shows me error d7. This is very frustrating, do you have any idea where this could be coming from?
Thank you...

Hello, @Zyzz
According to the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO user's manual, Q-Code "d7" indicates that no console input devices are found.
Additionally, in the photo you provided, the Q-LED indicators also light up.
We recommend referring to the instructions in [Motherboard] ASUS motherboard troubleshooting via Q-LED indicators, checking whether the hardware corresponding to the Q-LED indicators is installed correctly.
Meanwhile, we suggest you refer to [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display and test with minimal components to isolate the possible cause.
If necessary, please update the BIOS to the latest version and clear CMOS.
Thank you.

I had this error before early on in building my PC with the same case and motherboard, and found the problem without understanding why there was this problem.
I have 1 SATA II hard drive, a SATA SSD, and an M2 drive for Windows. I had to unplug both SATA drives and go into BIOS to get the SATA to accept. And, before reconnecting a SATA drive I installed Windows before, so that it doesn't put the source files in another SATA drive when installing on the M2.
Yes, the Z790 is finicky at first. Maybe you have multiple hard drives? Because it is also possible that the Bios has configured that several hard drives are linked together in operation and does not recognize SATA drives.
