Z790 e gaming oo code

So I had a 13900k inside my first z790 gaming. It would constantly blue screen. I ended up buying a new one as I am here for job training. It didn't make a difference fresh windows It would boot loop 10 plus times sometimes it would stay on sometimes it wouldn't. So I figured with everything online it was the cpu. Today I upgraded to a 14900k. It started booting and running codes just fine than I got a 00. Tried resetting the cpu still 00. I'm at a loss with my bad luck did I get a bad cpu? I'm not at home I don't have extra parts laying around to test this. Everything is watercool so it is a pain to test anything.

Specs

14900k asus rog strix z790 e gaming. Dual 32gb ddr 5 ram. Gigabyte 4090 oc everything is hard blocked with hard lines 3x 360 mm rads.

Hello @Jo31337

Could you please confirm your current BIOS version? Is it the latest version 2503, released on August 8, 2024?

According to the [Motherboard] Common Q-CODE (Error CODE) and Troubleshooting guide, on Intel platform motherboards, a Q-code 00 error during boot indicates a CPU issue.
We recommend following the ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI manual instructions to reinstall the CPU, RAM, and PSU and check for any hardware damage, such as bent CPU pins or dirty/damaged memory contacts.
In general, we would suggest cross-testing with different hardware, such as the CPU or GPU, to isolate potential hardware issues.
Please clear CMOS, check if a BIOS update is necessary, and refer to [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display.
Additionally, since you just purchased the CPU, if you have any concerns, we suggest contacting the retailer for assistance if needed.

Thank you.

As the local holiday is ongoing, there may be further delays in responses.
We appreciate your patience in advance.

Thank you for getting back to me. Yes I am updated to the latest firmware. Also I ended up swapping it out for another 12900k works fine. Just seemed odd getting a bad 13900k and 4 months later getting a bad 12900k. I also had just swapped the rog strix z790 gaming mobo for another one 2 months ago thinking maybe a bad mobo. Problem is solved now. Thank you for getting back to me again.
