The message I get at every bootup is "Please ensure to fully connect at least one 8-pin ATX_12V connector to the PSU for system stability". I have two 8-pins at the top of my motherboard but only 4/8 pins fit. This is the pinning for my motherboard (top) and PSU (bottom).
The PSU to the 8-pin cable only fits one way. The other end (motherboard) only fits 4 pins. This is the PSU pinning- this end fits the 8-pins.
This is my motherboard 8-pin connection. This is where the cable doesn't fit. The red circled part is the 4 that don't fit. It is really puzzling. I have eliminated a cable issue by trying another brands cable; I know power supply cables are universal. So, it is either the motherboard or the PSU. I can't swap put the "to motherboard" cable to the psu cause the pinning is wrong and it is a double tab. The end that is currently plugged into the PSU fits on the motherboard side. I have been thinking about this for a week and cannot figure out the solution. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Hello @percocetpenguin
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please refer to the image below. We’ve confirmed that the key connection points are the two square pins on the right side, as we marked out.
The rounded pin can be directly connected to the square pin 8-pin ATX_12V connector on the motherboard.
Thank you!
