Hi
When using my Z690 Formula’s audio card, ALC4082, I found that if Windows goes to sleep mode, and I wake it up, there is no sound.
To solve this, I need to unplug the aux cable, and replug it.
I tested the speakers with monitor’s aux plug via DP, everything is fine.

Hello, @Welpit
Due to the ongoing local holidays in our area, my response time may experience delays.
I apologize for any inconvenience the delayed replies may have caused.
May I ask if you are using a headset or speakers, and is it connected to the front panel of the case or the rear ports of the motherboard?
We recommend referring to [Windows 11/10] Change Power mode and plan, navigating to "Change advanced power settings" to check for any relevant limitations.
Please also follow the steps in [Motherboard] Troubleshooting-Audio with no sound and ensure that the Realtek USB Audio Driver is updated to the latest version B6.3.9600.2342 from the ROG MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA official website.
If these steps fail to help resolve the issue, kindly consider resetting the system while keeping your files and checking if you are using the latest BIOS version 3603 or if a BIOS update is needed.
Thank you.

I am using the 2.1 speakers from Nexxtech, connected to the green audio jack.
I did all the troubleshooting, bios is up to date, and Windows is resetted.
But the problem still remains.

Hello, @Welpit
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response.
Since we couldn't find the specifications for the Nexxtech 2.1 speaker, could you confirm if you are connecting the speaker directly to the green audio jack/Lime Port or using any adapters or extension cables?
Based on your description, it’s possible that after waking from sleep mode, the speaker fails to switch modes properly, requiring a re-connection.
If possible, we recommend cross-testing with other audio output devices, such as headphones or other speakers.
Thank you.

The speaker is connected directly to the Lime port using the original 3.5mm cable.
I tested the Nextech speaker with monitor audio output, there is no problem.
I also tried another speaker with the Lime port, the same problem occurs

Hello, @Welpit
Thank you for your response.
Could you please provide the following information to help us further verify it?
- the current BIOS version, the image of BIOS mainpage, and all the manually adjusting items in BIOS or whether it is the default
- the brand and model name of the CPU, GPU, RAM (part number and installed slots as well), SSD/HDD, and PSU currently installed
- the OS version and OS build
Also, please provide a comprehensive video recording of the issue, including how the speakers are connected and demonstrating normal sound playback upon startup but no sound playback after waking from sleep mode.
After the issue occurs, please perform troubleshooting steps from "Fix sound or audio problems in Windows," including checking sound settings, restarting Audio Services, trying different audio formats, reconnecting the speakers, and restarting.
Thank you.

Hi @Welpit are you using https://www.mwave.com.au/product/nextech-xc5171-2ch-powered-pc-stereo-speakers-with-rgb-lights-ac497... speakers? It will be good for you to share a link to what type of speakers you have. These speakers require USB power and your issue could be with USB power and nothing to do with the actual ALC4082.
If you can share details of the speakers you have tried that will help us better help you out.
