Hello,
I'm very new to diagnosing/resolving PC issues; so please, bare with me.
I am running into (what seems like) a common occurrence of PCI Device/RAID Controller/SM Bus Controller drivers not being installed. I also have an "Unknown device" driver that is apparently not installed as well.
I've flashed in the latest BIOS, installed the newest driver updates for LAN, Wireless, Chipset, Audio, VGA, and Bluetooth listed on my mobo's support page. I've tried searching the Hardware Ids online, which brings me here:
https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/asus-software/z690-i-quot-sm-bus-controller-quot-and-quot-pci-device-q...
Recommending an earlier driver release (for a different mobo model); which seems to have resolved their issue. Is there a similar chipset driver I can use? If it alerts me that I'm installing an older driver than currently installed should I still click ok?
There was also a post from 2019 mentioning uninstalling Intel Driver Support packages from my PC, as they may cause a conflict. I have an Intel Management Engine Components V2319.4.30.0 installed. I noticed my mobo's support site has IME Interface V2306.4.3.0 under Chipset. So many questions. Are these the same thing? Is this what the forum post referenced? If yes, is me having a newer version potentially causing the issue?
Any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Again, I'm very new to this, so hopefully all you smart and seasoned people can help me with this.
Thanks in advance!
*Quick edit, I recently upgraded my RAM as well. Went from 2x16GB to 4x16GB. Not sure if this plays at all into the problem, but that's the only other thing I can think of.

I'd like to know too, Getting the same thing in Device manager on my Z790 Maximus Extreme. Hope someone with some knowledge chimes in.
