Hi,
I try to first launch my new system, but I always have the yellow LED. Whe powering on the Q LED is 1s red, then the yellow one comes (means DIMM acc. to this: https://www.asus.com/de/support/faq/1042678/##3)
I read something about some RAM check during POST, but my system stays since 1 hour in yellow LED state.
I have connected display via display port, but I can't see anything. Is this normal?

You can either try straightening the socket pins back into place or replace the motherboard.
If it was halting on the red cpu led too, this is most likely due to bent socket pins as well.

I also tried the last post from here, https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/no-picture-is-it-even-booting-correctly-q-led-yell...
HDMI and keyboard were disconnected. Front panel USB disconnected.
Also did not work.

When I start my system all fans + AIO are running, also fans on RTX5070
ROG led on mainboard and RTX5070 are on an changing colors, so I think they are also ok.

resetting the CMOS - did not work

1. Check the 24-pin ATX power connector and 8-pin ESP12V connector(s) are fully inserted at both ends
- 24pin + 2*12V 8pin were connected
2. Check GPU 12VHPWR power connector is fully inserted at both ends
- was also connected
I have 850 power supply
3. Use USB Flashback method to update BIOS
- also done but no change
4. Remove the CPU cooler and CPU, inspecting the socket and CPU pin-pad for any debris or bent pins.
- did not do because it passes the Q-led light test

Hello Alex-P
So, you're stuck at the yellow Dram led when trying to boot, this would indicate a memory related error.
Since clearing the cmos and updating the bios didn't help:
1) Try each stick individually in the A2 slot to confirm both memory sticks work.
2) If they both work, do number 4 in your last post. You can take pictures of the cpu socket and post them here if you like.
When remounting your cooler, make sure the mounting screws are snug with even tension, not too tight.

Hi,
I also tested without the RTX5070, because I can't see anything on the display. Even only with the onboard HDMI, I get no output.
I tested with only 1 DIMM in the A2 slot, no changes.
I removed CPU and cooler, see attached screens, they are ok.
No changes, still the yellow light.

Thank you for the photos.
I see 2 areas where there are some bent socket pins.
This is why you are having issues.

ok, and what can I do now?
also, why was the red QLED for CPU ok?
