Yellow light on b850-f

Hi guys!

I'm having problems with my new setup. I'm stuck on a yellow light when I start the computer. I found a workaround by clearing the CMOS before each startup. I need to enter the BIOS and select the boot device. After that, Windows starts and everything works until the next reboot or shutdown.

Setup:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 5.4GHz Turbo AM5 - No Incluye Cooler
  • Memory: 2x Patriot DDR5 16GB 6000MHz Viper Black CL30
  • Mother ASUS ROG STRIX B850-F GAMING WIFI AM5 DDR5
  • Video: AMD XFX 9070XT
  • 2x SSD SATA

Can you help me with this? Thanks!!

Hi @rfigini
The yellow Q-LED is for DRAM. The system will conduct memory training when powering on. Initial DRAM training following a clear CMOS can take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes depending on the DRAM configuration.

Please ensure to wait for this process to complete before diagnosing further
