X870E-E starch my Astral 5090(Even follows official guide)
Welp I don't know what to say, been extremely careful and still have deal with the joy of "damage" card. Would not expect such mond with building a brand new rig. Apologies some photos was not as clear as I wanted.
Such design flow should've never existed and base on previous ASUS official statements about q-realse being no problem if with non excessive use. That reinforce metal braket is just ****, it will strach your pcb no matter you are installing or pulling the card out. Even first attempt, and yes it's a strach and not visible from physical damage but I don't know after how many time and I don't want to find out 😑 during my research, seems all 800 series who manufactured before 2025 was ones affected the most. And imagine some are not using ASUS card and their warranty could be declined simply using this q-release method 😧
Why the apex version have refined the pcb slot then😅

I don't even know where and how should I start my RMA process, tired and exhausted,
In case you don’t know, Asia region asus do have a compensation package which is 200E card points and promises board replacement once they have revamped version. ( so far we do see apex change the design , if no problem why bother?)
I did watch dozens of q-release videos making sure I did nothing wrong. Imagine following exact official instructions and got screwed. Astral is not the only card damaged, I have tuf 3080ti which is much lighter and peg still starched, before installing astral I have used this card to practice many times, to this point I am just speechless.
