Recently built a new PC.
9950x3d with 2x32gb Corsair Dominator CL30 6000MT from Asus QVL list. Mobo X870E-E gaming WIFI. I had 0 issues with this build and running the Asus 360 ryujin cooler + Asus 5080 astral OC it has been cool while shredding everything I throw at it. I updated all firmware to latest (1203 bios), enabled EXPO and did alot of checking that everything was stable. It's been working flawless for 2 weeks but this morning it wont even POST. The only lifesign is the DRAM lights that turn on as I press the power button on mobo directly or via chassi. No codes. I have tried a CMOS clear but nothing. Power seems to be fine. I can charge my USB wireless mouse on the USB ports.
Anyone have any ideas? I have had many Asus boards before & heard alot of rumors about the state of things but I had no idea it was this bad. My old Asus Z790 Gaming and the boards before just worked.
Edit: It should not matter but to provide more info I turned off power to the PC via PSU switch after shutting the machine down yesterday. Its not the first time ive done that with this machine. PSU is a brand new 1000w corsair rmx ATX 3.1.

Now I have also tried removing the GPU, same thing. I also cleared CMOS via battery removal and also replaced the battery with a brand new a one, same thing.
Anyone have any ideas? I have never experienced a brand new PC working perfect then completely dying after 2 weeks refusing to POST or show error codes.

I have now also tested different PCIE modes with the switch on the MOBO. It's set to AUTO by default. If I switch it to 16x or 8x,4x,4x a green/orange LED lights up as soon as I connect the computer to power without turning the machine on. If I then try to power it on the LED for the DRAM turns on, the PSU clicks like it usually does just before turning on but that's where it all stops without even a error code. Someone I talked with pointed out it could be the 12V but I'm not sure if that is the case since the PCIE switch light works & the 12V should be the main board power & power for all the heavier things like CPU etc. But anyway I have checked & reseated all 12V cables & the result is the same.

Last update for today & tomorrow I will see if anyone responds before giving up on this forum.
Anyway I have tried to do a BIOS flashback from 1203 to 0606. That worked but the problem is exactly the same. I then flashed back to 1203 but the issue remains.
I suspect it's either PSU related or that the CPU has died which would be extremely strange since I have not overclocked this system and the Asus Ryujin 360 cooler has been keeping this system extremely cool at 40ish C idle 50-55ish normal load and slightly above 70C full load. I however see more & more reports of dead 9800X3D & now some 9950X3D. Mainly it has been on Asrock motherboards, blame games on actual non dead CPU:s but instead memory issues and other things. Nothing that would apply here since I got memories from the QVL list & the system worked flawless for 2 weeks with these memories in both shipped BIOS version and after update to 1203.
Anyway here is one article for reference (In Swedish): https://nordichardware.se/ryzen-9-9950x3d-svallde-och-dog-i-ett-asrock-x870-pro-rs/
I will hopefully be able to test the PSU / a different PSU this week. If that does not work I will inspect the CPU which would be extremely strange if it died. Yesterday I did some work and ended the night playing a game that did not even push the CPU above 15%. Turned off the computer, turned off the PSU. This morning I tried to start & this happened.

Did you solve this? Got my yellow led of death today. Yesterday my system worked normally. I upgraded to 1203 like two weeks ago. Today i turned my pc on and no picture. Yellow dram led is on. Tryed to remove memory and only with one memory, but nothing. Tryed the usb bios rollback, but still nothing. 9800x3d, x870-f,2x32gt kingston fury 6000mhz cl30, samsung 990, zotac 5080 solid and corsair rm1000x(same power as you)

Yes I solved it.
TLDR: The problem was the PSU that partially died.
Long version:
There was something wrong with the 12V & I had to RMA the PSU that was only 2 weeks old. I had rechecked & reseated all the cables and nothing seemed wrong with the PSU at first. It was also nothing I thought of at first since USB-charging worked, DRAM RGB worked & motherboard PCIE switch LEDs worked. There was however no life from the Q-code, fans or anything else. After installing a different PSU the machine was up and running within a minute.

My Dram rgb and argb doesnt light up. Have to go and buy a new rm1000x and try it.
