X670E Crosshair Hero - No Cold Boot BIOS Option

I have an X670E Crosshair Hero motherboard. I used to get the option to enter the BIOS on cold boot, but lately that option does not exist, it just goes straight to Windows. I can restart from Windows and have the option, but not from a cold boot. I tried tapping delete on my keyboard throughout the entire boot up process, but still cannot get in the BIOS from a cold boot. I did just update my BIOS to 1709, so that might have been the culprit? I did reset all BIOS settings before updating the BIOS. I tried to disable the fast boot option in the BIOS and that did not work.

Other specs:

• 7950x
• Zotac 4090
• Corsair Titanium DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 (CMP32GX5M2B6000Z30)
• Corsair AX1600i

I found a lot of other references to this issue by searching the internet. It seems like this has been a pretty common issue with Asus x670e motherboards that has yet to be fixed. Any chance that Asus is working on this as of now?

That doesn't seem like an issue and more a result of Windows Fast Start Up. Have you tried disabling this?

Hi , i have the same problem with ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI BIOS 1709  + Ryzen 9 7950X3D 64GB DDR5 6000Mhz Memory ROG STRIX 4090 OC , from a cold boot it will not work with EXPO 1 or 2 and 6000Mhz memory profile . If i disable CRM and put the memory on 5800Mhz with EXPO on  its working fine . If i go back to bios later and set it to back to 6000 i can play / work all day and i dont see any problems exept when im restarting my pc , sometimes it will not restart or shutdown  

Can ASUS deal with this problem ?

That's overclocking instability, has little to do with the OP. I suggest you start a new thread. However, you'll likely need to tune VDDIO and VSOC voltages.

May I inquire whether pressing <F2> during POST allows access to the BIOS?
Have you considered following Silent_Scone's suggestion to disable the Windows Fast Start Up option?
The corresponding steps can be found in [Windows 10] How to disable Fast Startup in Windows.
We also recommend clearing CMOS and verifying the situation under default BIOS settings afterward.

No, pushing either "delete" or "F2" during a cold  boot does not allow access to the bios. Again, I can access the bios when restarting the computer from Windows, but not after completely shutting down the computer and then starting it. I have "Fast Startup" disabled, as I always do. I also disabled "Fast Boot" in the motherboard bios. I have already attempted to clear CMOS by removing the battery.

I also have an Asus PG32UQX. I turned off the connection with Windows for the OLED screen that shows the Asus ROG logo, FPS, refresh rate, etc. and this seemed to fix the issue of not having the option to get into the bios when first starting my computer. However, what I noticed is that now if I start the computer I still don't see anything until the Windows login screen, unless I wake up the monitor before pushing the power button on my computer. I think the issue is now related to a common problem with a lot of Asus monitors, deep sleep. If I turn off the deep sleep option on the monitor, which seems to fix the issue, the monitor's fan runs 100% of the time even when the monitor is asleep or off. Why not design these monitors so that the fan stops running after a period of non-use, even if deep sleep is disabled? My Alienware monitor does not have have this issue, it shuts off the fan after a period of time even if deep sleep or ECO mode settings are turned off.
