Mobo ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wi-Fi. CPU Ryzen 7500F. Windows 11 Pro 24H2. Drivers latest.
Windows sounds like minimizing or recovering windows, USB device on/off etc., tuned in Windows themes sounds, plays with little delay - about 0.25-0.5 sec.
In games, videos or any software audio works fine without this delay. Only Windows sounds on explorer events have this audio lagging.
Any fix?

Hello @UnclWish
May I ask if you are experiencing a sound effect delay during a specific system setup process?
At the time of the delay, are there any external devices or specific usage scenarios involved?
As I mentioned in your other thread, in addition to checking power management settings in Windows or BIOS, we recommend verifying if there are any pending system updates.
If necessary, please consider resetting the OS to see if the issue persists.
Thank you.

Hello @Jiaszzz_ROG
Thank you for answer!
Sound effect delay experiencing allways regardless to was system do. During idle or any setup process. No external devices or something like this.
And it not linked this my 545MHz issue. Sound issue is allways!
But I'm remind that this issue affects only Windows events sounds - sounds that setups on windows personalization - theme settings. This is sounds of minimize/restore windows, default windows sound, critical error/stop, notifications and etc.
Issue not affect any software or games. Just sounds that Windows plays itself.
I don't want to reset OS. Bug not so critical, but annoying.

Hello @UnclWish
Thank you for your response.
Since you believe this issue is not related to the other discussion thread, we would like to clarify whether the problem began immediately after building the PC two months ago, or if it occurred after making changes to software or hardware, such as replacing audio devices or performing a Windows update.
Could you please let us know how you verified that the audio delay is between 0.25- 0.5 seconds and if this issue also occurs in Safe Mode?
In addition to recommending that you refer to "Fix sound or audio problems in Windows," we suggest cross-testing with different audio devices or ports to further identify potential hardware or software issues.
Thank you.

Hello @Jiaszzz_ROG
Thanks for helping me.
About 2 months ago I changed my motherboard, CPU and RAM. Before current mobo I was on ASUS AM3+ mobo.
I'm not reinstalled Windows 11. It just work on new mobo without any problem.
Sound delay is heard by ear. I'm use the same audio theme on several PC's and I see that sound plays after some delay after event was happend. It's easy to notice if you work on several comps with the same sounds.
I'm tried Microsoft troubleshooting but no effect.
I not tried in safe mode yest. Will try when I would be at home.
