I have been trying to update the bios on three ROG Strix Z490-I Gaming MB's. Anytime I update beyond Bios version 2201, the computer enters an endless boot loop and never reaches the bios. I have successfully updated the MEUpdateTool_14.1.75.2420_T, which is the latest to date. I have been trying to update the operating systems to Windows 11, but the PTT mode won't stay enabled, allowing TPM 2.0 to upgrade to Windows 11.
Since the exact issue is happening on all of the Z490-I Mother Boards I own, which all have duplicate hardware and software, I will assume this is an ASUS problem. ASUS?

Hello @mindopera
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please confirm which BIOS version your three ROG STRIX Z490-I GAMING were running before attempting to update to version 2201?
According to the official website, the latest released BIOS version is 3001, published on May 7, 2024. Before updating to this version, it is essential to update the ME Driver to version 14.1.72.2287. We recommend updating both the BIOS and ME driver to the specified versions and clearing CMOS to verify if the boot issue persists.
If the issue remains unresolved, could you kindly provide the brand and model of the CPU, GPU, RAM, and PSU used in the three builds, along with related video footage? This will help us better understand the situation and the BIOS update process.
Thank you.

I don't know the version installed before 2201. They all currently have 2201 on them because that is the latest version, allowing them to boot into Windows 10 Pro. I tried installing BIOS ver 3001 again on one computer and cleared the CMOS this time. Clearing the CMOS allowed me to see the BIOS when booting up for the first time, and I saw in the BIOS that version 3001 was installed, but after saving the BIOS settings without any changes, the computer continually rebooted, meaning it started then shut down over and over again while never entering the BIOS or Windows 10. I turned the computer off after 5 minutes and unplugged the power. Every time I reinstall BIOS version 2201, the computer starts and runs Windows 10 without rebooting.
All hardware and software are the same on all three Motherboards.
MB: ROG STRIX Z490-I GAMING
CPU: Intel Core I7-10700
GPU: Onboard (HDMI)
RAM: Corsair Vengeancece LPX DDR4 32GB
PSU: Corsair SF Series, SF600, 600 Watt
What are your thoughts on why this is happening?

Hello @mindopera
Thank you for your update, which helps us better understand your situation.
From your description, it appears that your system can boot into the OS correctly only with BIOS version 2201, and updating to 3001 results in a boot loop that prevents entry into the OS. This behavior could be related to differences in the default BIOS parameters, which might require the boot device to be redetected.
We recommend updating to BIOS version 2301 first to confirm if the system can boot correctly. If successful, proceed with incremental updates to versions 2403 and 2601, eventually reaching the latest version, 3001.
If boot issues occur at any stage, please clear CMOS reset and check again to see if the problem is resolved.
Thank you.
