Unable to register recently bought motherboard

Currently I bought a new motherboard (ASUS Strix B760-I) from a store. Although the box was in great shape, one side of it, had scratches on the label that the Check Number was typed. Since I do not have the Check Number, I cannot register my motherboard to the RoG Elite Platfom.
Is there anything I could do?

Ask the seller to exchange the card because you need to be able to register it.

This is not an option because this motherboard is part of a computer that has already been registered as part in the EU Digital Business Upgrade program.
