Hi Asus crew, I’m having issues with my new pc build. First try I loaded windows and everything booted up and at windows desk top there’s a pop up for asus driverhub so I install that and it gave me a list of 17 driver updates. So I install a few of the updates and do a restart, now it freezes at the Tuf gaming screen. Tried taking the ram out and use only one stick but it froze after restarting as well. Cleared the cmos with the jumper pins and did a restart and again frozen at same screen. Cleared cmos again and did a fresh install of windows and it was working again. So this time around I just picked the chipset driver update and did a system restart, frozen again at Tuf gaming screen. I have built pc’s in the past (not many, only 2) but do I need to install the driver updates by usb and just bypass the asus driver hub altogether or is this the driver itself as the issue? If I clear the cmos again and do another fresh install of windows will I be fine to not update the drivers until newer ones are released?

Thank you for the response, this solved my problem. I was weary of updating bios as I’ve heard of that being an issue also but was not for me. I only had one issue with the process and that was extracting the zip files for the bios as the video in your link shows. Keep the bios files unextracted when updating bios or you won’t be able to update the ME version also, at least I couldn’t. Thank you again
